Events

At First Baptist Church of Bonneau, you’ll find a warm, welcoming church family where everyone is invited to come just as they are. Under the leadership of Pastor Luke, our heart is to share the love of Christ, grow in faith together, and serve our community with compassion and purpose.

Church and Community Events

At First Baptist Church of Bonneau, we believe church is more than a place to worship — it’s a place to connect, grow, and serve together. Throughout the year we host a variety of events designed to bring our church family and the surrounding community together. From family celebrations and fellowship gatherings to outreach events and special worship services, there is always something happening for people of all ages.

Our goal is to create opportunities where neighbors can meet neighbors, families can grow in faith together, and everyone can experience the love of Christ in a welcoming environment. We invite you to explore our upcoming events and join us as we celebrate faith, fellowship, and community.

Wednesday Night Fellowship

Join us for a special Wednesday Night Fellowship, where we set aside our regular Bible study to enjoy an evening of food, laughter, and meaningful fellowship together.

Bring your favorite dish—or maybe try a brand-new recipe—to share as we gather around the table as one church family. It's a wonderful opportunity to slow down, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend time getting to know our new members while reminiscing and sharing cherished memories with those who have been part of our church family for years.

Whether you've been attending for decades or just recently walked through our doors, there's a place for you. Come hungry, bring a dish to share if you're able, and enjoy an evening filled with friendship, encouragement, and the love of Christ as we grow closer together as a church family.

"So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding." – Romans 14:19

Quarterly Business Meeting

Church family, we invite all members to join us for our upcoming Quarterly Business Meeting! While this meeting may not include any major agenda items, it's still an important opportunity to stay informed about what God is doing through the ministry of First Baptist Church of Bonneau.

Come hear ministry updates, celebrate what the Lord has accomplished, learn about what's ahead, and be part of the conversations that help shape the life of our church. Your presence, prayers, and participation are valuable as we continue serving Christ together.

Whether you're a long-time member or recently joined our church family, we encourage you to attend. Together, we can celebrate God's faithfulness, look forward with excitement, and continue growing as one church united in purpose.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." – 1 Corinthians 12:27

🎶 5th Sunday Evening Singing Is Back! 🎶

Get ready for an exciting evening of worship, music, and praise as our 5th Sunday Evening Singing Service returns on August 30th!

This special service is for everyone—not just choir members! Whether you sing regularly, sing with your family, enjoy performing as a group, or have a favorite hymn or worship song that has been on your heart, we encourage you to be a part of this wonderful night of worship.

Sign-ups will begin as we get closer to the date, so now is the perfect time to start thinking about what song you'd like to share. To give as many people as possible an opportunity to participate, there will be a limit of one song per person or group.

Don't let this be a night where you sit and wish you had signed up! Some of the greatest blessings come when ordinary people step out in faith and use their gifts to glorify the Lord. Whether you're a seasoned singer or simply want to share a song that has blessed your heart, we'd love to hear from you.

Come ready to worship, encourage one another, and celebrate God's goodness through music. We can't wait to see the many talents God has placed within our church family on display as we lift our voices together in praise!

Start picking out that special song now—we're looking forward to a fantastic evening of worship and fellowship!
